Body, Learning and Diversity

The research group aims to produce research-based knowledge about body and movement, teaching and learning and teacher education.

The research group is particularly affiliated with LUI's research strategic themes: Health and learning for children and young people, play and learning, as well as teacher qualification, professional competence and educational research. The research group's members work from a wide range of methods: randomized studies, interventions, philosophical studies, self-study, auto-ethnography, fieldwork, interviews, observations, and visual methods.

    The group's ambition is to be a significant knowledge provider both nationally and internationally, and produce qualitatively good research relevant to the field of practice. The members of the research group are important actors within the field of education. Central to the group is to conduct practical research related to the body, movement, teaching, learning, and teacher education, both in a pupil and teacher perspective.
