Marijke Veenstra

About

Marijke Veenstra is senior researcher at the department of Ageing research and Housing studies. She has a background in sociology (1996) and a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University in Oslo (2006). She has a part-time position at the Center for Care Research Gjøvik (NTNU). Veenstra’s research includes studies on life-course and social inequality in the second half of life, and cross-sectoral coordination between specialist- and primary health care. She is also interested in methodological and psychometric challenges related to survey methods in general and ageing research specifically.
