Semester Programme in Dental Technology – Fixed Prosthetics

This semester programme consists of two courses of 20 and 10 ECTS. The courses deal with the various treatment options and production methods in fixed prosthetics, focusing on the crowns and bridges to maintain or recreate the patient's bite function and aesthetics.

The course emphasizes clinical and laboratory technology factors, design, aesthetics and function, particularly with a view to patient habituation.

The main focus is on the subject metal-ceramic and full ceramic constructions, both conventional and CAD/CAM technique are used including knowledge of different dental alloys and porcelain which are related to the design of ceramic crowns and bridges.

You will study through lectures, seminars, skills training, self study and external practice.

    You must be admitted to a bachelor programme in the field of Dental Technology.
