My main research is in the area of social inequality and quantitative methods of causal inference. I am currently working on projects about the impact of neighborhood disadvantage on child development, schools’ role in creating achievement gaps, and the development of quantile regression models. Additionally, I am involved in studies of the consequences of poverty on family processes, recruitment into academic positions, gene-environment interactions, and program evaluations.
