Jag er registrert fysioterapeut fra 1981 med ekspertise innen spesialisert nevrologisk rehabilitering, eldre, fallredsel, fysisk aktivitet og helse, kliniska målemetoder, kvantitativ og kvalitativa forskning. Jeg har vært kliniska tilknyttet Sunnaas sykehus HF siden 1983 og akademisk tilknyttet Karolinska Institutet siden 2010 og OsloMet Storbyuniversitetet siden 2016.

Nåværende stilling: Docent/ associate professor ved Karolinska Institutet, Institutionen för neurobiologi, vårdvetenskap och samhälle (NVS), Sektionen för fysioterapi (50%) fra 2017, førsteamanuensis ved Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital (Sunnaas sykehus HF), Forskningsavdelingen, Nesodden, Norge (50%) (fra 2016) og OsloMet Storbyuniversitetet, Fakultet for helsefag, Institutt for fysioterapi (20%) (fra 2016).
