Lau Lilleholt Harpviken is Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at OsloMet - Oslo Metropolitan University and affiliated with the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science (SODAS) at the University of Copenhagen. He earned his PhD in Psychology from the University of Copenhagen in 2021. His research focuses on personality, decision-making, social behaviour, and organisational outcomes, with a particular emphasis on integrating psychological theory with computational and data-driven approaches. His methodological expertise spans survey research, experimental methods, psychometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and the analysis of large-scale administrative and behavioural data.
His work has received international recognition and has been published in leading journals, including Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Communications, Nature Computational Science, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Journal of Experimental Psychology: General.
