In my PhD project I analyze and evaluate aspects of the Norwegian welfare state by examining ethical aspects in, among other things, Nav’s professional practices and organizational structure, including overarching administrative law. My project investigates the consequences of state intervention in individuals’ private spheres and in their own understanding of what constitutes a good life.
I am part of the research school DIGIT, class 2026-2028.

The doctoral project examines the philosophy of social work in general, and Norwegian welfare administration – particularly the Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration (Nav).
