I hold a PhD in management and governance of knowledge workers from OsloMet (2019), and a master’s degree in Organisation, Leadership and Work (OLA) from the University of Oslo (2015). As a postdoctoral researcher, I worked on the project Organizing for Outcome, focusing on collaboration between organizations and how they create public value.
I am interested in organization, governance and leadership. In particular, I have published research on leadership and organizing in and around the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (Nav), as well as leadership of inter-organizational networks.
I have also published research on a variety of topics, including the impact of football managers on team and player performance, midwives in crisis situations, risk factors for youth marginalization (NEETs), and the role of managers in network collaboration.
I previously led the research group Leadership, Organization and Values in Practice (LOVIP), and now lead a work package in the Research Council of Norway project Positive Deviance – an Innovative Approach to Youth Marginalization (POSTUT).
I have experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods and teach methodology, organization theory and leadership. Going forward, I am working on how organizing and leadership can contribute to sustainable local communities.
