About
I am a Head Engineer at the Department of Built Environment at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. I am a civil engineer by education and have completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees at this university. My master thesis, Structural Performance Characteristics of Ultra-High Performance Concrete Shear Walls was written in collaboration with Iowa State University as part of a research project with OsloMet.
As a Head Engineer, I am primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of the concrete laboratory. Here, I teach bachelor’s students in fundamental concrete work, such as aggregate testing, concrete casting, and compressive strength testing of concrete samples. In addition, I collaborate with master’s and PhD students on their research projects. From autumn 2025, I will also be teaching the AutoCAD application Focus Arealplan, where students will learn to develop and present digital planning data in accordance with the Planning and Building Act.
