About
Anne Skevik Grødem is a researcher in NOVA's Department for Ageing Research and Housing Studies. She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Oslo. She has carried out research on a broad range of topics related to social policy and welfare state, including family policy, social housing, and integration. In recent years, she has worked extensively on the development in the Norwegian pension system and the consequences the reformed pension system has had for older workers' situation in the labour market.

Coping with Flexibility. Behavioral Adaptations to the New Pension System and their Consequences in a Lifetime Perspective
The aim of this project is to study how people adapt to the reformed pension system. In particular, we look at adaptations to the increasing flexibility offered – both in terms of savings, and in terms of job planning and ways of combining work and pension uptake.
