Alumni

Dutch alumni connect at an alumni event.

Alumni is a Latin word that means former student.

Our alumni network is open to graduates of OsloMet and the university colleges that preceded the establishment of OsloMet.  Former exchange students are also full-fledged members of our alumni community.

Some of our study programmes also have their own alumni groups.

Joining the OsloMet alumni network will only take you about three minutes. Just tell us who you are and what you want to get e-mails about—we promise not to spam you.

You can join the network if you studied at OsloMet, HiOA, HiAk, HiO, or any of the other colleges that today are part of OsloMet. Current students in their final year of studies are also welcome to join.

International alumni networking events

A couple times a year, we invite international alumni—including former exchange students—to a networking gathering in their city. So far, we've had networking events in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, and of course Oslo.

Check out what our rector, vice-rector and several alumni had to say about their experience attending a recent networking event in Copenhagen.

We're not organising any events at the moment due to the pandemic, but we look forward to meeting you at a future event in a city near you.

Alumni groups

Some of our study programmes have their own alumni groups. Alumni groups connect alumni from different class years to each other. Some of them also plan occasional events.

Currently, three of our international master's programmes have their own alumni groups:

Do you want to help start an alumni group for one of our other international master's programmes? Send us an e-mail and we can help you get started.

Many of our Norwegian-language study programmes have their own alumni groups (Norwegian).
