Terje Lindblom is associate professor in photojournalism at OsloMet. His research focus is visual communication in society in general and photojournalism and visual journalism in the media in particular. He also holds a position as associate professor II at Nord University in Bodø, where he also teaches photojournalism, journalism and visual communication at bachelor's and master's level.
Terje Lindblom has a career spanning more than two decades as a Photo Editor, Photojournalist and Journalist in Swedish newspaper media and a background as an Associate Professor and researcher in photojournalism at Mittuniversitetet in Sundsvall, Sweden, where he taught photojournalism and journalism from 2008 until 2023.
In 2020 Lindblom presented his Ph.D. with the title Bakom Bilderna - Bildjournalister och bildjournalistik i ett marknadsorienterat journalistiskt fält, where he analysed changes for photojournalism and the position of photojournalists in the Swedish newspaper media industry.
