Over the last few decades, mothers and fathers in Norway have grown increasingly similar in the time they devote to the first shift (paid work), and time spent on the second shift (unpaid domestic work). Yet, the so called third shift (the invisible, emotional and cognitive administration of a family) is still unevenly distributed between mothers and fathers, even in an egalitarian country like Norway.
In this conversation held in English, researcher Cathrine Egeland at the Work Research Institute (AFI) will talk with Solveig Merete Svantesen (group leader Organizational and Competence Development, HR) about the third shift.
Organizer: LunsjpƄfyll at the University library.
