We see you, we hear you, we feel you

A seminar day including documentation of a theatre performance, book launch, exhibition and interesting discussions between artists, mental health users and professionals. What can the arts contribute to mental health care?

This is the final event of the Mad Balkans – Transforming psychiatry through art, a 2-year project funded by Creative Europe. It has used different artforms to empower people suffering from mental health issues and trauma.

The Department of Art, Design and Drama at Oslo Met, and project partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia, which are founding members of the West Balkan Hearing Voices Network (WBHVN), have cooperated in the project together with mental health service users and professionals. Now we present the art made during the project and discuss how art can contribute to mental health.

You are warmly welcome to see, feel, hear and participate!
