OsloMet and the University of Oslo invite all students and employees with friends to celebrate diversity, inclusion and love. Join us in this year's Pride Parade, where we walk under the slogan "Fearless Knowledge".
We will gather at Tøyen Hovedgård in the Botanical Garden at 10:00 (time may be adjusted) before we walk together to our spot in the parade. At Tøyen there will be music from Bjørneblæs, coffee and a good atmosphere. There will be appeals from OsloMet and UiO. Dress according to the weather.
We will hand out Pride t-shirts that you can join in the parade.
At 11.15 (the time may be adjusted based on allocated space in the parade) we will all go down to Grønlandsleiret for the parade.
We hope as many people as possible will join us in celebrating love! See you there!
Practical information
- OsloMet and UiO have prepared, in collaboration with professionals, a safe environment for the event in the Botanical Garden and on the route down to Grønlandsleiret. The Oslo Police will be responsible for the security during Oslo Pride.
- The event is free and open to everyone. We would still appreciate it if you registered in advance so we can get an idea of how many people will be attending (nettskjema.no).
- The meeting point is at Tøyen Hovedgård in the Botanical Garden. Some of us will be wearing reflective vests to show the way, and will also be able to answer any other questions you may have.
