Claudia van der Laag appointed expert reviewer for the European Commission

Professor Claudia van der Laag has been appointed to the prestigious role of Independent Expert Reviewer for the European Commission.

In this role, the professor from Department of Built Environment at OsloMet will contribute to the evaluation of groundbreaking EU-funded research proposals, with a particular focus on sustainability and technology.

Van der Laag’s expertise in digital urban planning, AI-driven geospatial analytics, and sustainable city and regional development provides a strong foundation for this work.

Her knowledge allows her to directly influence the future direction of research initiatives in Europe while also helping to strengthen OsloMet’s position within the European research landscape.
