Application and admission
The application deadline is 1 November.
Supplementary application rounds from 15 November with deadline 15 January for study places that were not filled during the primary application round. First come, first served rules will be applied.
Admission requirements
The course is aimed at PhD candidates admitted to the PhD Program in Educational Sciences for Teacher Education. It is also open to other applicants.
The admission requirement is a five-year master’s degree (three years pluss two years), or equivalent qualification or other qualifications in teacher education, educational science or development studies.
Those applicants who are not enrolled in the PhD Programme in Educational Sciences for Teacher Education will have to send a summary of maximum one A4 sheet with relevant information about their own PhD project or other project/sphere of interest containing the topic, methodology, theoretical approach, how far they are in their PhD work and why this particular subject is relevant for their project.
Ranking of applicants
In case of a large number of applicants, we will prioritise in this order:
- PhD candidates enrolled in the PhD program in Educational Sciences for Teacher Education
- other academic employees at the Faculty of Teacher Education and International Studies
- external applicants
Please note: The course can be held if admission is granted to five or more students.
