The course provides an overview of social work and social policy as fields of knowledge and institutional practice, as well as key theoretical debates.
Application deadline and admission requirements.
The course is offered only to candidates who have been admitted to a PhD programme, or, where applicable, a First Lecturer Programme. The application deadline is 1 September.
- External applicants should apply through Application Web (Søknadsweb) at fsweb.no. Search for Doctoral Modules and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
- Internal candidates should use Studentweb (fsweb.no) and register for the course themselves, or contact the PhD administration.
Required attachments for the application:
- External applicants must submit a summary of approximately one A4 page describing their PhD project and explaining why the course is relevant to their research. The summary should be uploaded in Søknadsweb.
- Internal candidates should send the summary directly to the PhD administration.
