This specialization is for you who want to learn more about advanced analysis, calculation and design of buildings, to achieve the goals of climate adaptation and zero-emission buildings.
Building Technology is a specialization in the Master's Degree Programme in Civil Engineering.
The Semester Programme consists of two semesters that can be taken individually or in consecutive semesters if you want to study at OsloMet for a whole year.
Exchange students are allowed to select courses from only one specialization to avoid scheduling conflicts. It is also recommended to choose courses from a single semester, either semester 1 or 3, if you are arriving in the fall.
Admission requirements
You must be enrolled in a master’s programme in Engineering (Civil, Building technology or related fields).

The application deadline is 15 April for the autumn semester and 1 October for the spring semester.
