The department is responsible for comprehensive governance and contributions to digitisation at OsloMet, in collaboration with the organisation. The Department of ICT is tasked with developing and modernising the IT portfolio, business architecture, and optimising the use of the supplier market.
The department has a particular responsibility for safeguarding perspectives related to IT security and ensuring that the university's IT operations are always in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
