About
Iris has a background in cultural and urban studies and is currently working on her PhD project in Innovation for Sustainability in which she focuses on creative walking practices as a way of sensing places attentively and carefully. She explores how to follow and walk with urban rivers to engage in conversations around the more-than-human in cities by attuning to multispecies and material perspectives. This is part of a larger interest in thinking through what makes us care about and care for the (watery) places we live with.
