My academic and creative work sits at the intersection of materiality and live performance. I am interested in the use of images and objects interconnecting on stage. I have worked across cultures and communities to bring to life stories in contemporary puppet theatre. My creative practice spans work performing and directing for opera, circus and festivals and my scholarly work includes teaching students at various levels in Australia and internationally.
