Echoes (Gjenklang in Norwegian) refers to a sound that is reflected back, an echo or reverberation. In a broader sense, it is about evoking recognition, reflection, and response. The seminar takes as its starting point how aesthetic practices can leave traces, open up new perspectives, and contribute to meaning-making, both individually and collectively.
"Gjengklang" is a seminar offering a varied program of academic and artistic contributions. Throughout the day, participants can experience how fields such as design, art, crafts, movement, storytelling, and performance engage with themes including sustainability, identity, relationships, and human experience. We invite exploration, dialogue, and new connections across disciplines.
We hope you find something that resonates with you, and that continues to have an impact long after the day is over.
You can find the complete program on the Norwegian website for the event. All the events are free.
