Children, Families, Law and Social Work (CLAWSO)

The research group is a permanent, inter-disciplinary and inter-departmental research group at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The members of Children, Families, Law and Social Work, have their background from law, psychology, sociology, anthropology and social work. The following departments are represented: Bachelor's education in child welfare, Bachelor's education in social work, The Norwegian Institute of Social Sciences (NOVA), the Master's and the PhD educations in social work and politics.

CLAWSO is a forum for mutual discussions, linking different disciplines and units, and is a basis for developing common research projects. Thus, the members may create smaller research groups within the CLAWSO group connecting to specific projects. Co-publication is a strategic aim.
