JUSTIN School and work

This research group develops new insight into participation problems in school and work. We spotlight how participation problems can be understood, investigated, and solved more effectively through interventions built on others and our research.

The group serves as a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing in public health with participation from students, staff, and networks.

We develop new knowledge in the following research areas:

More about the research group

In this group, there is a short distance between research, translation, implementation, innovation, and education.

We therefore use a range of methods in our research:

  • Qualitative studies: From qualitative in-depth studies to large-scale interviews and expert studies.
  • Quantitative design: Clinical and epidemiological studies, such as RCT and cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Secondary research: Systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
  • Implementation research and knowledge translation: In close collaboration with practice and policy, we prepare the research for use in practice and policy, where e-health approaches are often used.
  • Education: We offer courses and further education based on our research.

We develop complex and often digital interventions and assessment methods and educate practitioners within these methods.
