We shall develop novel technologies across multiple length scales, to provide solutions to complex technological challenges primarily within Green Energy.
The group comprises experts in materials modelling and testing, computational and experimental fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, green energy (wind turbines and solar panels), impact simulation, acoustic analyses, mechatronics, and multiphysics.
By uniting our core technical areas of fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, and mechatronics the group will perform innovative research in Green Energy Technology. We will focus on developing sustainable, efficient, and advanced solutions for energy generation, storage, and management.
Our group has recently received OsloMet strategic funding of to establish GrønnMet – OsloMet Green Energy lab. This lab will serve as a hub for interdisciplinary research collaboration and knowledge dissemination in Green Energy, catering to a wide audience including academia, industry, and STEM students.
GrønnMet will elevate OsloMet's reputation through extensive internal and external communication about the initiative, its activities, and achievements. Through the interdisciplinary collaborations fostered by GrønnMet, OsloMet will acquire the innovative knowledge and sustainable solutions essential for a greener future.
