Work environment, occupational health, and profession

We explore the complex interplay between work environment and occupational health from an interdisciplinary perspective, with particular emphasis on profession, social inequality, and gender, with particular emphasis on profession, social inequality, and gender.

We use Norwegian registry data covering the entire employed population in the country. To overcome the limitations of registry data – specifically the lack of direct information on working environment factors – we link the registry data with various Job Exposure Matrices (JEMs) based on the Norwegian Working Environment Surveys.
