The project develops a simulation-based resource for writing didactics targeting teacher education and writing instruction.
Through the simulation resource, student teachers are presented with subject-specific pedagogical challenges and opportunities to apply, test, and further develop both theoretical and practical knowledge. The simulation-resource developed in this project focuses on early writing in the Norwegian L1 language.
A further aim of the project is to develop design principles for the development and implementation of simulation-based learning resources. These principles may also provide inspiration for other subject areas and professional education programmes.
The project is relevant to anyone interested in simulation as a teaching and learning method, and may be of particular interest to those working in writing pedagogy, early literacy education, and educational design research.
