This PhD project aims to develop national quality indicators for prehospital stroke care in Norway to strengthen quality measurement, reduce variation in care, and support improved patient pathways.
This project aims to develop an evidence-based national framework of quality indicators for prehospital stroke care in Norway.
Through analyses of data from the Norwegian Stroke Registry, stakeholder surveys, and input from healthcare professionals and patient representatives, the project will identify key measures for evaluating and improving prehospital stroke care.
The overall goal is to support more systematic, evidence-based, and equitable quality improvement and to provide a foundation for future quality measurement and quality improvement initiatives in prehospital stroke care.
The project is led by OsloMet in collaboration with the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation.
