The project aims to strengthen knowledge, skills, and practices related to outdoor learning (OL) in higher education across Europe.
OsloMet is a partner in this Erasmus+ project which focuses on transformative learning, sustainable competencies, and enhanced well-being through the use of outdoor-based teaching methods, as well as establishing a network for educators.
OsloMet's role in the project
OsloMet is involved in all work packages of the project, but has primary responsibility for one of them, Work package 2 (WP 2). The work package focuses on mapping and analyzing existing practices of outdoor learning in higher education. This includes data collection and analysis based on interviews with educators at various European institutions. At OsloMet, Evi Petersen and Henrik Neegaard from the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education and International Studies (LUI) are the contact persons for the project.
Do you want to participate in the research?
We are currently seeking responses to our questionnaire, which investigates how educators from different disciplines use outdoor activities in their higher education teaching. We welcome you to fill in the questionnaire, which takes 2-8 minutes to complete (soscisurvey.wu.ac.at)
