Head of research and strategic focus areas has the responsibility for developing the department's research strategies and strategies for social impact in close collaboration with industry, faculty, department and administrative sections at the university. The role will promote growth in research activities and collaboration with industry and society, lead processes related to external research funding, provide personnel management for the department's phd fellows and postdoctoral fellows and follow up on the department's research project and strategic portfolio to ensure quality and goal achievement.
