The purpose of the project is to produce a state-of-the-art review of research on universal basic income experiments in modern welfare states.
The aim of the project is
- to examine to what extent knowledge about basic income, grounded in global research, is transferable to Norway;
- to use the conclusions to formulate concrete proposals for how one or more basic income pilot projects can be designed and implemented in order to provide as many relevant insights as possible for political decision-making.
