Programme description
This semester programme begins with a course on food, health and sustainability. Here you will explore how food systems, public health, and environmental challenges are interconnected, and how sustainable solutions can be developed across sectors.
After completing this course, you will choose between two courses (SYKP2200B or ERGOB3010). Both courses focus on understanding and applying evidence-based knowledge to improve healthcare services. Whether exploring health challenges across different populations or critically evaluating interventions and outcomes, you will gain the tools to drive innovation and quality improvement in the healthcare field.
You will gain insight into how different health systems work, explore social and environmental determinants of health, and develop skills to contribute to equitable and sustainable health solutions.
While SYKP2200B emphasizes the critical evaluation of health interventions and outcomes across the lifespan, ERGOB3010 delves deeper into the complexities of chronic conditions. Each offers a unique perspective, tailored to understanding and addressing diverse challenges within healthcare.
Students who choose ERGOB3010 may also follow one of our Norwegian language courses for a full 30 ECTS semester. Note that ERGOB3010 has a limited number of spots available. If you choose this and there is not sufficient capacity, you will be offered a spot in SYKP2200B.
