Angeliki Dimaki-Adolfsen

About

Angeliki Dimaki-Adolfsen is an assistant professor and design researcher at the Department of Product Design at OsloMet. She leads the introductory course in Bachelor Studies and supports the BA program development.

She works at the intersection of design ethnography, participatory design, design politics, humanitarian spatialities, design counter-practices, and critical design education. She is completing a doctorate in the University of Gothenburg on design and politics across European sociopolitical and humanitarian borders, focusing on the social dimensions of design practices.

She is a member of Design Research Society and has participated to several conference scientific committees, including NORDES, Cumulus, DRS Learn X Design. She is also a member of the MsC’s Advisory Board for Sustainable Design of Architecture Space of the University of West Attica.

Since May 2026 she serves as Deputy Head of Studies for the BA.
