About

I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education (GFU) at Oslo Metropolitan University. Currently I am working on the TEPS-project (Teacher Education Panel Study), where I focus on the development of survey instruments that can be used to examine teacher education in Norway.

My research interests include motivation and interest, and how motivation and interest can be triggered and developed among students. In my PhD-project I investigated how storytelling can be used to trigger interest in mathematics and statistics from an educational psychology perspective. I am also interested in the interplay between cognitive and emotional factors within judgment and decision-making, health psychology, and educational psychology. In my research, I primarily use experimental and quantitative methods.
