About
I hold the position of Assistant Professor at OsloMet, serve as the Deputy Mayor of Notodden, and at the moment I have an uncompleted PhD in Law at the Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham. Additionally, I continue to work as the goalkeeper coach for the 1st team in Notodden FK, which competes at the 3rd level in Norway.
My journey in Norway began in 2004 when my passion for football led me away from my second year of Law studies at the University of Lisbon School of Law. I enjoyed a professional football career spanning 15 years, from 1998 to 2013, with the last decade spent playing in Norway. In 2013, I earned a BSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, followed by an MSc in International Relations in 2016. I completed my Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Diplomacy at Lancaster University in February 2020.
I am an active member of the research group Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Sustainability, and I teach the bachelor course Technology and Society (both 5 ECTS and 10 ECTS) and the masters courses ACIT4055 Security Politics, Cyberwar, and Ethics, ACIT4025 Cybersecurity and Privacy and ACIT4090 Globalisation of Technology.
Furthermore, I serve as the international coordinator and coordinator for bachelors and masters theses at the Department of Computer Science.
