About

I am a PhD research fellow at the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Health Technology, Faculty of Health Sciences. I am also a member of the MUSKHealth research group. My primary research interests are back pain among older adults, where I am working with a cohort study Back Complaints in the Elders - Norway. This is a large cohort study where we assess treatment, course and prognosis, and factors affecting the prognosis of back pain among older adults in primary care. We collaborate with research groups in the Netherlands and Brazil.

  • The Back Complaints in the Elders, Norway (BACE-N)

The BACE-N is part of an international consortium (The Back Complaints in the Elders: BACE), which was established in 2008 in order to create standardised methodology for large cohort studies and share data on the burden of back pain in older people.
