My expertise lies in open science, responsible research evaluation, scholarly communication, publication strategies, and the development of digital researcher profiles. I provide advice on policy and program offerings, supervise, deliver lectures, and offer research support in these areas.
Background:
I am an experienced professional in research administration and library science. I have been working in research administration since 2015, and prior to that, I spent nearly 20 years in various library positions as a librarian, project manager, service development coordinator, and manager of digital library services.
My educational background includes a Master’s degree in management, a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, and a Cand.mag. degree from the University of Bergen.
I am a passionate advocate for transparency in research and responsible research evaluation. I have led several projects in Open Access, service development, research evaluation, and research information, and have given presentations on these topics at various events and for different sector bodies.
I have been actively involved in training and have contributed to numerous conferences and workshops at local, national, and international levels, including EARMA, NARMA, INORMS, MUNIN, PUBMET, and the annual conference on doctoral education in Norway.
I am the Deputy Chair of the INORMS Research Evaluation Group https://inorms.net/research-evaluation-group/. This is an international initiative working on how best to ensure that research evaluations are meaningful, responsible, and effective.
I am NARMA's member in the INORMS working group, https://inorms.net/inorms-working-group/. The group brings together national networks and associations for research administration and management from around the world.
