About
I’m a passionate advocate for transparency and openness in science and responsible research assessment, with a strong interest in how we can shape more meaningful and sustainable practices in research. I love meeting new people, sharing knowledge, and building connections across borders with international colleagues and friends.
Since 2015, I’ve been working in Research Administration and am currently a Senior Adviser in Research and Societal Impact. I am part of the team supporting various aspects of the pre-award process for external funding. Before that, I spent nearly 20 years in different roles within the library sector.
My core expertise lies in Open Science, Responsible Research Assessment, Scholarly Communication, and building digital researcher profiles. I guide researchers and research groups through workshops on building clear pathways to impact and leads train-the-trainer courses on responsible impact assessment, ensuring that real-world influence of research is recognized in meaningful and balanced ways.
At OsloMet, I have played a central role in the development and practical implementation of services, policies, and infrastructures. I also provide research support, supervise, lecture, organize workshops, and advise on policy and program development.
In addition, I represent OsloMet as the institutional contact for Scholars at Risk, serve as a liaison to the NORCAM network, and actively participate in the DORA network – all initiatives closely aligned with my commitment to developing open, fair, and inclusive research systems.
I currently serve as Deputy Chair of the INORMS Research Evaluation Group, https://inorms.net/research-evaluation-group/, an international initiative dedicated to advancing responsible and effective research evaluations. I’m also an active member of the INORMS Working Group, which brings together research management societies worldwide.
I was Deputy Chair of NARMA (Norwegian Network for Administration and Research Management) 2018–2022, and part of the NARMA working group 2015–2022. Within NARMA, I established and championed the Research Evaluation and Open Science Special Interest Groups.
I have had the pleasure of actively contributing to numerous courses, lectures, and conferences at the local, national, and international levels. I have also shared my expertise in a wide range of national committees, project boards, and working groups.
