The project will generate new knowledge about the child welfare population’s backgrounds, life outcomes, and living conditions in adulthood. It will analyze variations in service provision and examine the relationships between social background, services received, and life outcomes over time, using comprehensive registry data.
The project will provide important knowledge for policy development and service improvement in the child welfare sector. By analyzing how different interventions work for various groups, and how municipal differences influence children’s life chances, we can help improve service quality and reduce unwarranted variation in service provision.
