The work of child welfare services when there is concern about the child's sexual behaviour

The project aim is to discuss what can be good measures in the child welfare services work with children and young people with problematic or harmful sexual behaviour and their parents.

The knowledge about how children and young people with problematic or harmful sexual behaviour is addressed in various parts of the child welfare service is insufficient. 

In this project, we will interview employees in Bufetat (foster care intake and institutions) and managers and employees in municipal child welfare services and institutions about their work with children and young people with PSA/SSA problems and their families. 

We will also interview children and young people (10-18 years) and parents or foster parents who have been in contact with child welfare services in connection with such challenges.
