The project will lay the groundwork for research and development efforts across services that work with children and young people. Professionals in different services will be interviewed using a shared interview guide design, enabling the data to be used for comparative analyses across services
Children’s and young people’s lives are closely intertwined with welfare services, and thus also with the professionals working within these services. Through this project, we engage closely with professionals and their everyday work in order to develop knowledge about their daily efforts to promote inclusion and quality of life for children and young people.
The project originates from the research network Childlife – Children’s Lives and Professional Practice, where a central idea is that services such as child health clinics, early childhood education and care, schools, and child welfare services all encounter the same child, and that research on and development of these services must take this into account.
