This project explores the life circumstances of vulnerable children and young people, with particular attention to those who have contact with child welfare services.
Around 15–20 percent of children and young people come into contact with child welfare services during their upbringing, and the project will contribute to the knowledge base for preventing and reducing social exclusion in this group.
Through this project, we will contribute to the establishment of a Nordic centre for welfare and service research on vulnerable children and young people, and lay the groundwork for comparative studies in the Nordic countries.
