The project aims to produce knowledge about preventive measures aimed at reducing youth delinquency in Oslo.
The research will explore how and to what degree different measures in two city districts of Oslo contribute to prevent and reduce youth crime and delinquency. We are concerned with how the measures strengthen the individual youth, their families and whether they contribute towards a better environment for youth in the district. The project emphasizes the youths own experiences of the measures.
The project is implemented as a collaboration between researchers from NOVA - Norwegian Social Research and the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) at OsloMet.
