Future Health and Care Services

The welfare state must be sustainable over time. Therefore, it is crucial to find good answers to the challenges facing future health and care services. That is the aim of this strategic research area at OsloMet.

To develop smarter organization of future health and care services, better use of resources, and innovative technology, significant knowledge development is needed.

The demand for health and care services will increase in step with an aging population. At the same time, there will be fewer workers to meet this demand.

Success also requires close collaboration between academia and practice so that knowledge is put into use.
