Anders Heggenes Lauvstad is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Education and International Studies, Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education, at Oslo Metropolitan University.
His doctoral research examines how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping digital citizenship education, with a particular focus on AI competence and ethical awareness. The project addresses how AI becomes part of educational practice, and how competencies related to digital responsibility and critical participation in digital societies can be developed through education.
Using qualitative approaches, the research explores pedagogical and ethical issues related to AI in schools, as well as how understandings of technology may influence educational practices and work with digital citizenship.
