About
I am an associate professor in special and inclusive education and conduct research on language acquisition/development, language processing and language impairments in mono-and multilingual populations in a lifespan perspective. Furthermore, I'm interested in the relationship between language and cognition, and how language impairments affect quality of life and participation in daily life activities.
Apart from teaching in the postgraduate program in special and inclusive education, I am also PI of a research project supported by the Dam Foundation about quality of life and language impairments among youth and adolescents (dam.no/prosjekter/livskvalitet-og-sprakvansker-hos-ungdom/).

Words for Wellbeing – Quality of life and language impairment in adolescents and young adults
We aim to adapt a vocabulary assessment tool to Norwegian and try it out on different groups of adolescents and young adults with and without language impairments.
