About
My research foci are language impairments and language development in mono- and multilingual speakers. I have experience with developmental language disorders (DLD), aphasia and language impairment following cognitive decline and dementia. Furthermore, I am also interested in cultural and linguistic adaptations of screening batteries for children and adults with language disorders.
I collaborate with researchers at the universities of Warsaw and Copenhagen, as well as the University of Oslo and the Specialist hospital for epilepsy.
Two research projects funded by the Dam Foundation (in Norwegian):
Words for Wellbeing - Quality of life and language disorders in adolescents and young adults: https://dam.no/prosjekter/livskvalitet-og-sprakvansker-hos-ungdom/
Language assessment battery for Primary Progressive Aphasia: https://dam.no/prosjekter/sprakkartleggingsverktoy-for-primaer-progressiv-afasi/
I teach mainly in the continuing education program in special education.
