FUSILLI - Fostering the Urban Food System Transformation through Innovative Living Labs Implementation

Through experimental methods and knowledge sharing, researchers will explore new ways of producing and distributing food in European cities. OsloMet and the municipality of Oslo are Norwegian partners in the project, which has been supported by Horizon 2020, the EU's framework program for research.

About the project

The main goal of the project is to build an urban food plan to achieve an integrated and safe overall transition to healthy, sustainable, safe, inclusive, fair and cost-effective food systems, through feasible and transferable innovative urban policies that lead to the implementation of improved measures in all phases of the food chain.

All activities in the project will be anchored in the four FOOD 2030 policy priorities of the EU (Nutrition for sustainable and healthy diets; Climate-smart and environmentally sustainable food systems; Circular and resource-efficient food systems; Innovation and empowerment of local communities).

Funding

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101000717.
