Coordinated Online Panels for Research on Democracy and Governance in Norway (KODEM)

KODEM allows researchers to ask questions to four societal groups relevant to research on democracy and governance in Norway.

Surveys of high scientific quality are crucial for solid and independent knowledge on attitudes and opinions in different societal groups. KODEM consists of online panels that will be built to be representative over time, for four central groups in the democratic chain of governance: the population, elected representatives, public administrators and journalists.

The project will establish a new model for coordinated data collection, where surveys are conducted simultaneously in the various panels. KODEM will also establish national scientific committees for all panels.
