The project will study lifelong learning and female migrant healthcare workers in Scandinavia.
Europe has long prioritised increasing lifelong learning (LLL) participation among adults aged 25 to 64 to foster sustainable growth and inclusivity. Despite these efforts, many countries have yet to meet their targets.
With the support of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the SCILLED project will examine LLL implementation in the healthcare sector across three Scandinavian countries.
The study will focus on gender and migration, exploring the experiences of female migrant healthcare workers, vital contributors to Europe’s socio-demographic landscape.
The project will include a replicable pilot study bridging academic and non-academic sectors to improve training opportunities.
