The aim of the project is to further develop the NORtritious online calculator.
NORtritious is an online calculator designed to make the innovation, development and communication of healthy food and drink solutions easier and more effective in the market for individual companies.
The calculator is designed to help food manufacturers assess whether products meet the requirements for the Keyhole label and EFSA nutrition and health claims.
The development of NORtritious is being carried out in close consultation with Nofima, represented by Ida Synnøve Grini and Anne Marit Rødland. The project has a reference group comprising representatives from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Norwegian Directorate of Health, and includes industry partners such as Det Glutenfrie Verksted, Alna, Bama and Melk.no.
NORtritious builds on pilot projects funded by Viken County Municipality in 2022–2024.
